The company's chief rival, AMD, has not shown the same consistency, often releasing beta drivers for newer games. AMD has yet to announce its drivers for Windows 10 are WHQL-certified, but it would be surprising if the company weren't ready for the new OS on day one. Especially given that AMD's CEO seems to know exactly when Microsoft will release Windows 10.

The impact on you at home: Anyone running the Windows 10 Technical Preview on an Nvidia-powered rig can grab the drivers from the company to test them out. Although most of the company's work is done, Nvidia still isn't finished completing its DirectX 12 support. The company says its graphics cards using the Maxwell and Kepler architectures support DX12 right now, but many cards using the older Fermi architecture will get DX12 support 'later.'

  5. Right-click the display driver and click Update Driver Software.

  6. Select Search Automatically for Updated Driver Software.

Step 2: Check if there are any updates for display drivers available in Optional Updates; this might fix the issue. Refer to the following steps.

  1. At the Start screen, type Windows Update.

  2. Click or tap Settings on the right side of the screen, and then select Install optional updates from the left results.

  3. When the Windows Update control panel opens, click on “Check for Updates” on the top left corner to receive a fresh list of updates.

Step 3: If the issue persists, I would suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the Display driver. Please follow the steps mentioned below to uninstall the display driver.

  1. Open Device Manager.

  2. Expand Display adapters.

  3. Right-click the display card driver and click Uninstall.
